Play with Clay: Botanical Forms
Suitable for young people aged 10-15 years.
$15 per person includes all materials and firing of the clay.
Get creative with clay these school holidays and discover the beauty of nature through ceramics! Participants will explore hand-building techniques to create small vessels, pinch pots and unique clay forms inspired by leaves, flowers, bark and other natural textures.
Experiment with pressing botanical materials into clay to create stunning surface designs, then add optional underglaze details to enhance your work. With a focus on creativity, texture and personal expression, young artists will be encouraged to think about composition while developing their own sculptural or functional ceramic pieces.
