Come and join us in a world of creative fun at our Kids Air dry Clay Magnet Workshop, where young artists will mould air dry clay, paint unique masterpieces, and transform their creations into functional magnets—join us for a day of artistic exploration and colourful joy!
Process
1) Children decide what kind of theme they would like to make their magnets based on.
2) Children will place their art pieces on card and cut out.
3) Roll out air dry clay.
4) Place design on top and using knife cut around or just create by hand.
5) Using water make sure that all the cracks are no longer there.
6) Let it dry.
7) Glue the magnet on - depending on age I can help with this.
8) Paint.
9) Optional Varnish :)
Siniva Williams
Siniva Williams is of Māori (Ngā Puhi and Ngāti Raukawa), Tongan, Samoan, and European heritage. Siniva is a multi- disciplinary artist whose practice includes digital photography, painting, carving, and fashion design. Sinivas' artwork is an interpretation of her memories and stories discovering her cultural identity.
Siniva holds a First Class honours for her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Elam, The University of Auckland.
All Materials are provided
Please come with a suitable clothing as we will use paints and inks.
