School Holiday Outdoor Adventures

Thanks to Sport Waitakere Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa funding, local adventure group Got To Get Out is hosting a series of FREE outdoor events during January school holidays!

This program is specially for rangatahi (youth 10-20) who live in West Auckland.

The purpose of these free outdoor adventures, is to encourage participation of youth people in active recreation, get fit, make friends, and explore different parts of Waitakere.

Each day in the school program will be TWO* half day activities of:

- Paddle boarding lesson / tour

- Hiking walk

- Biking (lesson).

All boards / bikes / helmets / equipment provided by Got To Get Out.

*The young person will not know what activity they are getting until event day (due to weather and tides) so please pack suitable clothing for all activities.

Bring togs / towel / running shoes / water bottle / a packed lunch!

You may book as MANY times as you like!

More details will follow to all ticket holders including exact gear-lists, and health and safety information (Medic*tion / emergency contacts).

Last thing, if you book in, please make sure you either show up or cancel your ticket! Tickets are VERY limited to just 15 people per trip, so make sure you show up :)
