About this Event
Come in to Leongatha Library any time over the upcoming school holidays to etch your image or message of reflection & celebration on a scratch-board hand in the lead up to NAIDOC Week 2023.
Together our creations will form a 'Sea of Hands', artistically installed across our lawns on Thursday July 6th following our special NAIDOC Story Time in the spirit of community, connection and reconciliation.
Children, their grown-ups and people of all ages - all are welcome to contribute a scratch-art hand to our community art installation. Drop in to Leongatha Library any time to make your mark and leave your message of kindness and connection. Families are welcome to return for our special NAIDOC Story Time, Thursday July 6th at 10:30am, or for the launch of our installation on the front lawns of the library at 11:00am.

Leongatha Library is an inclusive space, and positively engaging with each other is much more important than keeping quiet. However, children must be supervised at all times by their carers.
