Join our costumed guides for hands-on heritage activities in the homestead parlour, then rug up and take on our winter orienteering challenge through the heritage gardens.
What's on:
🧶 Tuesdays | Rag Rugs - 10:30–12:30
"Waste not, want not!" Drop in and turn fabric scraps into a colourful mini art piece.
🧵 Wednesdays | Cross Stitch - 10:30–12:30
Learn the basics of cross stitch and stitch up your own monogrammed badge or mini ornament.
🐑 Thursdays | Working with Wool - 10:30–12:30
Discover how wool from the farm becomes yarn — have a go at spinning and weaving, or make a pom pom to take home.
📚 Saturdays | School Lesson - 11:00am
Mind your manners and sit up straight, or face the strap! Practise your 3 Rs and try your hand at writing on slates, just like the old days.
🧈 Sundays | Butter Making - 11:00am
Roll up your sleeves and help churn cream into butter the old-fashioned way.
All activities are drop-in and included with entry, perfect for the whole family these winter school holidays. Come dressed warmly and ready to get crafty!
