For our summer school gardener meet-up, we will have local artist, Ashli England, leading a class on making natural gouache paint from nature and paint brushes from the yucca plant. During this meet-up, get to know other school gardeners while you create paint and paintbrushes from natural materials that can be grown in the garden. Attendees will be asked to bring their own jars for storing paint, but all other materials will be provided.Unfortunately, the space for this class is highly limited (only 10 spots available), so we ask that you please only RSVP if you will be attending! Once the class is full those who register will be put on a waitlist.
The class and meet-up will take place at Bell Community Garden (3871 Bell Ave., St. Louis, MO 63108) and will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. If there is inclement weather we will move just up the street to the Seed St. Louis Carriage House. Registration will close shortly after the class is full. Once registration ends, you will be emailed to confirm if you have reserved a spot in the class or if you are on the waitlist.
