About this Event
The Campus Tour tells the three stories of the School for Advanced Research (SAR): the organization, the Indian arts collection, and the campus. The nineteen-acre campus on Santa Fe's historic East Side includes about a dozen buildings dating from the early 1900s to the 1990s. These buildings, designed by three prominent Santa Fe architects, include a gazebo designed by John Gaw Meem, a billiard house, and a dog kennel turned into an archaeology lab and press building. , and artworks by Native artists and notable Santa Fe neighbors including Gustave Baumann.
Tours run 1.5 to 2 hours.
