About this Event
AWFF is proud to present its Official Selection of 2022 Asian Oscar and Golden Globe submissions for Best International Feature Film and Best Motion Picture - Non-English Language respectively, along with a number of special screenings and tribute retrospectives. The Festival aims to promote all films through physical and online screenings, panels, events and social media platforms, in order to assist the filmmakers in their campaigns for Award success.

Synopsis:
Masha is going through an adolescence crisis and she distances herself from her family. She falls in love with Ram who invites her to party with other girls and offers some money for it. And if she brings new girls, she will be paid extra for each.
DIRECTOR
Farkhat Sharipov has degrees from both the Kazakh National Academy of Arts and the New York Film Academy. His debut feature film “The Tale of a Pink Bunny” in 2010 was a box-office hit in Kazakhstan. Beginning with “The Secret of a Leader” 2018, he is now using his films to explore deep-rooted social problems in modern Kazakhsociety.
