Vinyl Road is a female-fronted band that has been performing since 2014. The band covers classic songs from popular artists like Styx, Janis Joplin, Free, Journey, Melissa Etheridge, Blondie, Aerosmith, REO, Jefferson Airplane, AC/DC, and The Mamas and the Papas. Over the years, they have also added in tunes from artists such as Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Elle King, and many others. The band is known for its incredible vocalists and the fact that audiences never know what song to expect next.The Schauer Courtyard is between the Schauer Arts Center and Hartford Recreation Center buildings. The courtyard and bar open at 5:30 p.m., with live music playing from 6:00–9:00 p.m. Admission is free, but a $5.00 donation is suggested per person. Please note that seating is limited, so we kindly ask you to bring your lawn chair.
