About this Event

People form an impression of you before you speak. They notice how you walk into a room, your expression, your posture, and even how you smell. Those small signals shape whether people trust you, remember you, and want to work with you.

This month's Lunch & Learn + Networking explores the quiet side of leadership: presence. Our special guest is Nadiyah Salaam, a beauty and fragrance expert and account executive who works with some of the most recognized names in fragrance, including Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Paco Rabanne. Behind the scenes, she leads strategy that brings these brands to life in stores. She oversees sales events and manages the team that delivers fragrance master classes to customers. Few people understand better how scent creates memory, confidence, and connection.

Together we'll talk about how scent, style, and nonverbal cues show up in how we serve our clients, teams, and communities. We'll also look at what research says about cues that signal warmth and competence, so you can shape your presence on purpose instead of leaving it to chance.

This isn't a lecture. It's a real conversation in a small room with professional women and leaders who want to talk about the real stuff. You'll meet new people, share honestly, and leave with something you can put into practice tomorrow.

What you'll walk away with:

  • An understanding of the nonverbal cues people read in the first few seconds
  • How scent and personal presentation connect to memory, confidence, and connection
  • Simple, sustainable ways to show up with presence without performing or burning out
  • A personal "presence plan" with one cue to practice the next day
  • New connections with leaders, business owners, and professionals across industries

Who should attend: Business owners, leaders, HR professionals, client-facing professionals, and anyone who wants their presence to match the value they bring.

Includes: Lunch, guided conversation, a hands-on exercise, and networking. Seating is limited to 11 to keep the conversation personal.
