Scent of Water" is a worship event inspired by Job 14:9, aiming to reignite hope in those seeking help.Scent of Water : Help Is On The Way
One may ask, what is Scent of Water? Inspired by the Scripture Job 14:9 “yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant,” Scent of Water is a transformative worship experience that aims to revive the dying flames of hope in individuals whose souls are earnestly crying out for help. This year’s program happening at 6200 Cleveland Ave focuses on the cry for help, hence the theme “Help Is On The Way.”
The goal of this program is to cultivate an environment where individuals feel empowered to bring their unspoken burdens before God. These burdens may include pain, disappointment, waning hope, healing, brokenness, trauma, and more. Through intimate worship and fervent prayer, our goal is to create a space where individuals can authentically live out the essence of 1 Peter 5:7, which encourages us to "pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you" (TPT).
