SCDNR SCORE Trash Sorting

Join the SCORE team and Charleston Waterkeeper volunteers and staff to pick undesirable trash out of our recycled shell! Do not use the eventbrite event location address. We will meet in the parking lot at the corner of Noisette Blvd and Turnbull Ave and we will have volunteers drive from there caravan style to our nearby shell holding facility.

Since most of our shell is coming from restaurants and oyster roasts, there is often a fair amount of trash among the shell. This is our opportunity to clean it up before we bag it and put it out in the marsh! Help keep our waterways as clean and free of debris as possible!

This is a working port, therefore, a government issued picture ID is required to get through the gate. Participants must be 10 years or older to participate and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
