About the Event
Join the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation in collaboration with the Kamara Sickle Cell Project (KaSp) for the SCD Awareness Fundraiser Cookout—a day of food, fun, fellowship, and purpose.
This family-friendly community event is dedicated to raising awareness about sickle cell disease while generating support for advocacy, education, research, and patient services. Guests will enjoy delicious food, entertainment, merchandise, and opportunities to connect with SCD warriors, caregivers, advocates, families, and friends.
One of the event highlights is our Food Station Challenge, where sponsored teams will decorate, manage, and compete for the title of best food station while raising funds for a great cause.
Every meal purchased, sponsorship secured, volunteer hour given, and donation received helps advance our mission to educate, advocate, and support individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease.
