Get out of the summer's heat to enjoy a thrilling chiller! In THE WHITE REINDEER / VALKOINEN PEURA (1952), a newly wed Sámi woman (Mirjami Kuosmanen) cannot cope with the loneliness life to a nomadic, reindeer herder (Kalervo Nissilä) brings. When her longed for husband returns, he is exhausted and inattentive. Thinking a love spell is the solution, she visits a local shaman, but it backfires and turns her into a bloodthirsty monster. This is a rare public screening of the Finnish, folk horror classic, so don't miss it!

The club meets in the library's Rita E. Steele Auditorium. All are welcome! You do not have to live in Fairhaven to join or attend events. Both are FREE to the public.
To easily access the auditorium, please enter the library through the Walnut Street doors. There are both stairs and an accessibility ramp outside of this entrance. The auditorium is the first room to the right after you enter.
