Scattrbrain is the full-band alter ego of Atlanta-based artist GRIP, the acclaimed rapper and songwriter known for his gritty lyricism, sharp social commentary and raw emotional depth .Emerging from Atlantas hip-hop underground and once signed to Eminems Shady Records, GRIP built a reputation as one of the citys most introspective emcees before disrupting genre lines entirely with Scattrbrain. Channeling post-punk, grunge, hardcore and DIY energy through GRIPs singular perspective as a storyteller, Scattrbrain is loud, cathartic and deliberately difficult to categorize. The projects debut album, Scattrbrain & The Unwavering Self Doubt, confronts burnout, identity, addiction, industry disillusionment and self-doubt with distortion, live drums and an uninhibited vocal approach.
