Scary Island is a reading of a word-for-word theatrical adaptation of the “The Real Housewives of New York” episode “Sun, Sand and Psychosis.” The play takes place in the fallout of the 2008 financial crisis and follows a group of wealthy New York women vacationing in the Virgin Islands. Just as the fun turns up and the group unwinds, one of the women enters psychosis and ignites mass hysteria with her delusions of culinary semantics, amateur photography, and even conspiracies of M**der.
