Join Wendy Hilton, a leading Soft Tissue Therapist with over 25 years of experience working within elite sport.
Wendy’s expertise in scar tissue management began through her work with Paralympic athletes and as part of the rehabilitation team at the Olympic Medical Institute. She went on to spend 14 years as a member of the GB Athletics Medical Team, alongside her work within private practice.
In this CPD talk, Wendy will share her extensive knowledge of scar maturation and experience and evidence-informed techniques for managing significant injuries and post-operative scars. Particular focus will be given to total knee replacements (TKR) and post-mastectomy rehabilitation.
Participants will learn how to apply a combination of fascial and lymphatic techniques to support optimal scar mobility, improve tissue function, and enhance patient outcomes.
