A community and family-focused celebration of the outdoor activities and recreation Scappoose offers! The festival features live bands, entertainers, and outdoor activities for guests of all ages. A Friday movie night at Veterans Park kicks off the fun. Saturday, the gates open at 10 am with tasty food vendors, outdoor-focused sales vendors, and a 5k fundraiser. The festivities continue throughout the day with adventure and outdoor-focused activities such as ax throwing, wood carving, and more.

Scappoose Adventure Festival Vendor Agreement & Conditions:
This application is for a booth(s) at the Scappoose Adventure Festival, at Veterans Park, to be held, rain or shine, on September 10th, 2022 in Scappoose, Oregon. This is an Agreement by and between the City of Scappoose (hereinafter City) and the vendor (hereinafter Vendor), indicated by the Vendor Application form.
Vendor agrees to comply with all applicable COVID-19 guidance and requirements in effect at the time of the Scappoose Adventure Festival.
Vendor shall pay a fee for space(s). All space fees and electrical hook-up shall be paid in full at the time the signed application is returned. No refunds will be issued.
Vendor set up for food truck/trailer services is Friday, September 9th from 6:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. Please refer to Section 12 of this agreement for additional requirements for food services.
Setup may begin on Friday, September 9th at 7:00 a.m. If you intend to bring a vehicle onto either event site on the morning of Saturday, September 10th, you must enter the site prior to 8:00 am. No vehicles will be permitted to enter the festival grounds after 8:00 a.m. All vehicles already on the grounds by 8:00 am. will be required to exit the grounds by 9:00 a.m. All vendors are required to be on-site and have tents and other structural items set up by 9:45 a.m.
Vendors agree to have booths completely set up Saturday, September 10th, and to remain open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Food vendors are required to remain open until 11:30 pm to meet alcohol permitting requirements. Takedown of non-food vendor booths is not permitted until 10:00 pm on Saturday, September 10th, 2022.
If the vendor runs out of products, vendor may post a closed sign, but booths and supplies cannot be removed from the site until 10:00 pm.
All registration fees are non-refundable for any reason unless the event is canceled by event organizers. Booths may be transferred to other vendors with prior notice to [email protected]
Amplified sound is not permitted to extend outside the assigned booth space. Sound levels from individual vendor booths shall not interfere with other vendors ability to conduct business or cause complaints to the Event Coordinator. All event music shall be provided by the City of Scappoose.
The City and its officers, volunteers and contractors assume no liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, claims, suits, costs or liabilities whatsoever caused by or associated with the activities of the Vendor. Vendor shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City, its officers, employees, City Council, volunteers and contractors from any damages, claims, suits, costs, or liabilities arising from Vendors activities under this agreement. All vendors are required to provide a certificate of liability insurance naming the City of Scappoose as an additional insured with minimum limits of Liability of $1,000,000 that covers Bodily Injury and Property Damage. There are no exceptions to the insurance requirement Vendor and City also agree to waive subrogation against each other when permitted in their insurance policies.
Vendor agrees to be responsible for the clean up of their booth area at the end of their day, and at the end of the event.
Vendors who do not comply with this agreement will not be allowed to continue their sales or presentation and may be asked to close their booth and exit the event.
Food vendors will be inspected, and a temporary Columbia County health permit shall be obtained by Vendor. This permit is required by the State of Oregon and strictly enforced by Columbia County. For more information, call (503) 366-3828.
The Fire Marshall will be on-site to ensure compliance with the following for all food vendors:
-- Food vendors must carry fire extinguishers.
-- Fire extinguishers must be mounted five feet from the floor and near the exit from the booth.
-- Fire extinguishers must be at least 2A-10BC type.
-- Electrical extension cords are required to carry larger voltage than the appliance served.
-- Extension cords must be 3-prong and UP approved on appliances requiring grounding.
-- Bare metal next to cords is prohibited.
-- CO2 bottles must be secured.
