About this Event
Welcome to Scandinavian Style Embroidery
Discover the calm beauty of Scandinavian style embroidery in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Rooted in Nordic traditions, this style emphasizes simplicity, natural motifs, and clean, elegant stitching techniques that create timeless designs.
In this session, you’ll learn foundational embroidery stitches commonly used in Scandinavian textiles, along with tips for working with natural color palettes and balanced compositions. Guided step-by-step, you’ll create your own piece inspired by classic Nordic patterns—think florals, geometric borders, and nature-inspired elements.
Whether you’re new to embroidery or looking to expand your skills, this workshop offers a relaxing and creative space to slow down, connect with tradition, and make something beautiful by hand. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a project that is well on its way to being finished and the confidence to continue stitching at home.
All supplies included.
