Ruotsalainen tunnelmallista doom metalia esittävä Hexjakt saapuu huhtikuussa ensimmäisille Suomen keikoilleen Tampereelle ja Helsinkiin. Lauantaina 18.4. Bar Kotelon lavalla riffimessua täydentävät helsinkiläiset stoner- ja doom -yhtyeet Kaiser ja Orbiter.
Kaiser:
Helsinkiläinen Kaiser nousi stoner rock -piirien huulille jo vuoden 2014 EP:llään, jonka jälkeen yhtyeen vauhti on kiihtynyt vuoden 2018 debyyttitäyspitkä 1st Soundin myötä, joka siivitti bändin Yhdysvaltojen kiertueelle, jossa bändi esiintyi muun muassa stoner rockin amerikkalaisten jättiläisten kuten Red Fangin, John Garcian ja Nebulan kanssa. Samana vuonna Kaiser ehti kiertää myös Eurooppaa ja esiintyä Tuskassa. Pandemian jälkeen bändi julkaisi vuonna 2022 Turned to Stone: Chapter Six -nimisen split-EP:n amerikkalaisen Ripple Musicin kautta. Viime vuosina Kaiser on jatkanut keikkailua stoner rockin ja metalin kansainvälisten kärkinimien mukana esiintyen Suomessa Nebulan ja Weedeaterin, sekä Ruotsissa Truckfighters Fuzz Festivalilla mm. Truckfightersin, Lowriderin ja Black Rainbowsin kanssa. Viime vuonna ilmestyi bändin odotettu, kansainvälisesti hehkutusta osakseen saanut, toinen täyspitkä 2nd Sound, jonka julkaisi ruotsalainen Majestic Mountain Records.

Hexjakt on raskasta ja tunnelmallista doom metalia esittävä trio Ruotsista, joka on noussut nopeasti yhdeksi modernin stonerin ja doomin alakulttuurin vakuuttavimmista äänenkannattajista. Vuonna 2024 perustettu yhtye löysi nopeasti musiikillisen identiteettinsä, jossa muinaisen koneiston liikkeen tavoin hitaasti, välttämättömästi ja taipumattomasti yhdistyvät massiiviset fuzz-kitarat, syvä basso ja rytminen pulssi, jotka siirtävät hillityt jännitteet räjähtäväksi intensiteetiksi. Sanoituksissaan Hexjakt tutkii okkulttia, ihmisen haurautta, eksistentiaalista pelkoa, sekä maailmankaikkeuden tuntemattomia syvyyksiä. Lopputuloksena äänimaiseman on raskas mutta myös tunnelmallinen: Vangitsevat äänimaailmat vetävät kuulijan epätoivon, transsendenssin, ja näiden välitilojen läpi. Yhtyeen viime vuonna julkaistu debyyttialbumi Blessing of the Damned on saanut kansainvälistä huomiota monumentaalisesta laulunteosta, immersiivisestä tuotannosta ja itsevarmasta taiteellisesta näkemyksestään.

Psykedeelistä doom metallia esittävän helsinkiläisen Orbiterin soundi on sulatusuuni musertavan raskasta riffittelyä, aavemaista psykedeliaa sekä hypnoottisia laulumelodioita. Vuonna 2023 julkaistun debyyttialbumi Hollow Worldin ylistävissä levyarvioissa, aina Infernosta ulkomaisiin metallimusiikkimedioihin, on noussut toistuvasti esiin yhtyeen jäljittelemätön tyyli sekä dynamiikka painostavan raskauden ja hengittävän tunnelmoinnin välillä. Levyn äänimaailman vangitsi tuottajalegenda Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Apocalyptica) luoden erinomaisen jatkon aiemmin julkaistulle The Deluge EP:lle. Orbiter on rakentanut mainetta erityisesti tunnelmallisilla live-esiintymisillään Suomen, Saksan, Irlannin ja Viron klubi- sekä festivaalikeikoilla. Yhtye on esiintynyt usealle sadalle katsojalle Irlantilaisessa metallifestari Siege of Limerickissä ja viimeisimmällä Desert Hel -festivaalilla Tiivistämöllä genren kansainvälisten huippunimien (mm. Messa, Truckfighters) mukana.

Swedish atmospheric doom metal band Hexjakt comes to Finland this April to perform their Finnish live debuts, in Tampere and Helsinki. On Saturday 18 April in Bar Kotelo, the riff mass shall be supported by Helsinki-based stoner and doom bands Kaiser and Orbiter.
Kaiser:
Helsinki-based Kaiser made a strong entry to the stoner rock scene already with their EP in 2014, after which the pace has just increased until their 2018 debut album 1st Sound. The praised release led the band to the USA to play alongside the genre giants such as Red Fang, John Garcia, and Nebula. During the same year Kaiser toured also Europe and played at Tuska festival. In 2022 the band released Turned to Stone: Chapter Six split EP through American Ripple Music. In recent years Kaiser has performed with various leading artists in the stoner rock scene, having shared stage with Nebula and Weedeater in Finland and played alongside Truckfighters, Lowrider, and Black Rainbows at Truckfighters Fuzz Festival in Sweden. In 2025 the band released their long-awaited second full-length album called 2nd Sound through Swedish label Majestic Mountain Records.

The sound of Helsinki-based psychedelic doom metal band Orbiter is a melting pot of crushingly heavy riffing, haunting psychedelia, and hypnotic vocal melodies. The band's debut album Hollow World from late 2023 has received praising reviews from domestic Inferno to international music media, repeatedly mentioning the band's inimitable style and dynamics between oppressing weight and breathing ambience. The soundscape of the album was captured by the producer legend Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Apocalyptica) as a great continuation to the previous The Deluge EP. Orbiter has gained recognition with atmospheric live shows in clubs and festivals in Finland, Germany, Ireland, and Estonia. The band has performed in front of hundreds of people at an Irish metal festival Siege of Limerick, and at last Desert Hel festival where Orbiter played alongside some of the key bands in the scene, such as Truckfighters and Messa.
