THE LINE UP SO FAR

BUFFO'S WAKE - At last, we finally host this twelve-legged beast armed with accordions, violins and a bucket full of gusto. They waltz, tango, mosh and kolo their way through a vast array of influences from Eastern European, Balkan and Russian folk, to punk rock and cabaret, telling tales of debauchery, deformity, zombies, incest and anatomy - making audiences dance late into the night in the process.

In their time together, they have toured all over the world, finding an inspired, confused, sweaty, and often very drunk reception everywhere they go.

Gypsy, Balkan and Klezmer Carnival Punks – with influences from Abba to Zappa, Buffo’s Wake are guaranteed to leave you dancing like you're possessed!

OHMIC BOLIDE - Brand new to the Scallywag family this celtic club quartet will wow you with a cèilidh boom style collision of celtic folk and electronic dance. Expect fiddle, accordian, irish whistle, big bass, processed beats and anthemic topline female vocals.

Don't miss this very special performance from these fantastic players!

DJ BASSIE GRACIE - We welcome back our long friend of the scallywag family and phenominal performance poet in her own right, the iconic Bassie Gracie who'll be mixing balkan beats with funk, hip hop and electro swing to create a finale to get your hips moving and dance floor pumping. She's a festival DJ regular having played storming sets at Glastonbury, Boomtown and Secret Garden Party to name a few.

PLUS MORE ACTS TO BE ANNOUNCED and ...

Venue - So happy to be returning to the wonderful Whitecliffs beachfront cafe bar, bringing in our own stage and sound system and raising the roof in a way that only a Scallywag Party can. It's well worth the trek to East Brighton and unlike any other party, we’re out of town so plenty of chilled vibes, we have the beach on our doorstep, a nice long live music hall with a bar and lots of covered outdoor space with comfy sofas, fire pit and views looking out to the sea. There is no parking at the venue but close by there is free overnight parking in the Saltdean Tavern car park as well as on street parking and a pay and display at the Lido.

Party Safety - We work really hard to create parties that are a welcoming and safe spaces to be enjoyed by all. For your safety, and as with all venues, a security team will be present and conducting bag searches on the door. We trust you understand what is cool and what is not, and any antisocial and/or illegal activity will not be tolerated. In an instance of this trust being broken, inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with nicely but firmly and swiftly. Thank you for keeping all our previous events so safe, we really appreciate your help and the way the Scallywag family looks out for each other, long may it continue!

Come join the party!
