Many of you have asked for a scalloped border workshop & here it is!!Workshop students will need a quilt top that is quilted all the way to the edge with at least a 5 ½ inch border (that finishes at 5 inches). The quilting can be simple (like meandering). This is a learning quilt, so you may want to save that fancy quilt for a later time when you’ve mastered the Scalloped Border - your workshop quilt can be any size - a baby quilt to king sized or anything in-between. Even using a Love Wrapper is a great option to learn this process.
In this workshop, students will learn how to measure their quilt to determine how many scallops are needed, how to create a template for the scallops & create a pattern using plain paper & rotary cutter. Students will also make binding & learn how to sew (machine or hand) the binding for a clean & fun finish.
