Our May program will feature Ms. Dea JuVette. Dea is a Club member and will share with us about her recently published children's book called "Hoppy Finds a Friend". Her new book is currently on sale on Amazon, Facebook and Twitter. Dea is multi-talented as a writer, having written stage and screen plays. She also played the harp and violin and has played in orchestras. Dea is of Swedish ancestry. Her father's mother (grandmother) came from Sweden and settled in Superior Wisconsin. Dea and her husband, Ken JuVette, are both retired and are "snow birds". They live in Albuquerque in the winter and spend summers in Wisconsin. Refreshments will be provided by the Club, so please bring a snack or goodie to share.
Club meeting will be at 6:30 pm. at St. John's United Methodist Church, Classroom 245, located at 2626 Arizona Street (near Menaul and San Pedro Streets), please use parking lot on West side of the church. If you are unable to attend in person, you may join by Zoom, using this link:
