Meet South Carolina Patriots from the Revolution!
• Major-General Nathanael Greene – A brilliant commander of the Southern Campaign, Greene’s strategic leadership helped turn the tide of the war in the Carolinas.
• Rebecca Brewton Motte – A courageous patriot who famously allowed her own home to be burned to drive out British forces during the war.
• Captain Henry Felder – A South Carolina militia leader and statesman who fought for independence and helped shape the new nation.
• Catawba Warrior Peter Harris – A proud member of the Catawba Nation who fought alongside Patriot forces, representing the vital role Native allies played in the Revolution.

Enjoy guided hayrides to the Battle of the Great Cane Brake site, led by local historian Durant Ashmore

Come hungry! This will be one of the best food truck lineups of the season:

• Stu's Q - Stu’s Q serves up bold, mouthwatering barbecue with a unique twist—blending classic Southern flavors with a kick of Southwest flair
• King of Fire Pizza – Wood-fired artisan pizza
• Soda Slingers – Custom “dirty sodas,” boba drinks & fresh lemonades (including a special patriotic drink!)
• Blue Collar Brew – Specialty coffee & beverages
• Tipsy Trails – Beer & wine selections
• One Dessert Place – Ice cream, banana pudding & sweet treats

(Approx. 1 hour round trip | Tours leave from back parking lot, behind bandstand)

Note: Should you choose to walk to the site, be aware there are steep uphill parts and uneven terrain. Please wear appropriate shoes. Last tour gets back at 4:30 pm.
