Please come out and join us for Syvester Broome Empowerment Village Chicago's 2nd annual Turkey Drive!!

We’re excited to announce a special partnership with Zakat Chicago and Islamic Relief USA to distribute 400 Halal turkeys to families in the community Thanksgiving. Please join us on Friday, November 22nd, from 3:00pm–7:00pm (or until supplies run out) at our location, 5410 S State St.

To make this occasion even more special, the first 150 attendees will receive a complimentary produce bag, complete with fresh ingredients, a recipe, and a unique spice rub for your turkey. These thoughtful gifts have been curated by our Director of Culinary, Chef Malika Ameen, and the talented students in our culinary program.

This event is more than just a turkey giveaway—it’s an opportunity to come together and make a positive impact in our community.
