SBA AZ: Selling to the Federal Government (AUGUST 2026)
About this Event
The federal government spends over $600 billion in contracts every year. 23% of those dollars are required to be awarded to small business. In this federal contracting primer, learn how to certify your small business to compete for set-aside opportunities. Join us to connect with resources, marketing tools and consulting services to support your success in the federal marketplace.
This month, we welcome guest presenter Anthony Caruso, Small Business Specialist for the General Services Administration (GSA). His presentation will be delivered virtually. Learn how to sell your products or services to the federal government through GSA. GSA helps federal agencies purchase the products and services they need, and small businesses play an important role in that process. If you’re interested in working with the agency, there are a few key steps to understand. GSA connects federal agencies with businesses through a variety of contracting programs and tools. One of the most common is the Multiple Award Schedule program, which allows agencies to purchase from pre-approved vendors. This training walks you through how to get started, where to focus, and how to position your business for success.
