Say Yes in 2026: An Improv Workshop for Everyday People

Start your year by investing in yourself. Say Yes in 2026 is a special New Year themed improv workshop designed for everyday people who want to build confidence, communication skills, and creativity in a fun and low pressure environment. You will not be asked to perform scenes or act on a stage. Instead, you will take part in simple group and partner exercises that focus on everyday communication, teamwork, and thinking with more ease.

No experience is needed. No expectations are placed on anyone. This workshop is a chance to reset, reconnect, and begin 2026 with forward momentum. Through supportive activities and brief discussion, you will see how the same tools improvisers use to build scenes can help you in daily conversations, problem solving, collaboration, and staying present. You will walk away with skills that can support your goals and help you approach the new year with clarity and confidence.

MIKE MARBACH is the founder and Executive Director of Crossroads Comedy Theater. Mike has been studying, performing, and teaching improv since 2005. He has taken classes with and performed with iO Chicago and The Annoyance Theater in Chicago and has also studied with the UCB Theater in NY. Prior to Crossroads Mike served as the Education Director of Philly Improv Theater. He has also taught improv classes with Drexel University, Arizona State University, and the Armed Services Arts Partnership.
