Sebastian is struggling to keep his head above water as a pianist, while he would actually love nothing more than to open an old-fashioned jazz bar. After the two of them meet and start off fighting, they become a couple and are on cloud nine. But the further they pursue their dreams, the more their love falls by the wayside.

Mia jobbt im Coffeeshop und träumt davon, dass endlich eines ihrer Castings erfolgreich verläuft und die Schauspielkarriere doch noch Wirklichkeit wird. Sebastian hält sich als Pianist mehr schlecht als recht über Wasser, während er eigentlich nichts lieber machen würde, als eine altmodische Jazz-Bar zu eröffnen. Nachdem die beiden zum ersten Mal aufeinandertreffen und sich erst einmal kabbeln werden sie ein Paar und schweben auf Wolke Sieben. Doch je weiter die beiden ihre Träume verfolgen, desto mehr gerät ihre Liebe ins Hintertreffen.
