Savory Beginnings and Sweet Endings

This 2 day workshop December, 14th & 15th from 9:30am - 5:30pm will give you some new and fresh ideas for your Holiday parties or light meals to serve your family and friends! There will be sampling as we go as well as an opportunity to sign up before the class to make a cake, appatizer, or treat to take home to share with your loved ones.

A day full of laughter, community, and seasonal treats and the bonus of having delightful treats to share for the upcoming Holidays!

Day 1

Savory Beginnings

Start focaccia

Bruschetta Bread demo

Toppings tomato, goat cheese, zucchini *(1/2 pint)

Pasta crecuita with simple red sauce

Polpetinni (small meatballs) *(dozen)

Sweet Ending

Biscotti - several flavors * (4 dozen)

Olive oil cake * (whole cake)

Zabaglione with fresh fruit

Day 2

Savory Beginnings

Potato croquets

Stuffed olives

Chicken La Quercia * (dozen)

Finish focaccia

Sweet Endings

Fresh fruit tart * (whole cake)

Torta de Nonna * (whole cake)

Torta Caprese * (whole cake)

Material fee $30 per day

*Stared items above are available to make and bring home at $15 per item. Quantities are listed by the item.

Cancelation Policy:

In the event that a ticket holder needs to cancel their reservation at least 4 weeks before class starts a refund minus a $5 processing fee will be issued. Refunds/credits will not be issued to the ticket holder who requests a cancelation within 4 weeks of the class start time or does not attend.

If less than 4 people enroll, the class will be cancelled, and a full refund will be issued.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, every dollar spent at Piney Woods Farm is for charitable purposes. Our sustainable approach to farming equips us to help supply our local communities with organic, nutrient-dense goods and produce—to date, we’ve donated over 100,000 pounds of produce to community food banks and other charitable organizations!
