The biggest celebration and advocacy event will take place at Rash Field, Inner Harbor on Saturday, October 26th.
Alongside media partner WMAR TV-2, DJ Joe, Waterfront Partnership and our sponsor partners, we will raise funds to support the DS community in Maryland and build community on the waterfront.
This year we're welcoming honorary chair: Chris Nikic! The first person with Down syndrome to complete triathlons, marathons, and has a 1% better mentality - don't miss your chance to hear his words of wisdom!

Registration Fees:
Walker with Shirt - $21 (includes a walk t-shirt)
Walker without Shirt - $5 (does not include a walk t-shirt)
Walker without Shirt (Scholarship Option) - free (does not include a walk t-shirt and the $5 registration fee is out of reach for your budget.)
Individual with Down syndrome - free (includes a walk t-shirt)

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION. 41 years ago, Chesapeake Down Syndrome Parent Group (CDSPG) was dreamed into existence by a group of families in Towson, Maryland. In 2022, we changed our name to better reflect the work we are committed to: providing information and support to individuals with Down syndrome and their families, and the professionals who work with both. No matter what you call us, we are here for the Down syndrome community - for 40 years now, and for the next 40 years to come - and beyond.
Your involvement and interest in this year's walk will build the budget for next year's programs and accomplishments that serve the Down syndrome community! Thank you!

1100 - Celebration and Resource Village is OPEN!
