SAVE THE DATE! OCT 11th Litter pickup
Thanks to all the folks who turned out to help the Friends clean up the Lower Dam in April. We will be picking up litter on October 11th from 9AM to 12PM.
Come help us spruce up the Dam and bring a friend!
The boat parking lot will be closed to the public so we will be parking on the Dam. I have taken a picture of the area where we will meet.
Please bring your leather gloves and litter grabbers. Rakes will be helpful in some areas.
We will be working from Orchard and Riverside to Lake Shore and Riverside. This is a 2-mile stretch of highway.
Canyon County Highway District 4 will provide orange garbage bags and safety vests.
Don’t forget your water bottles, the Friends will provide snacks and water!
Please take the time to watch this video about safety when picking up litter on the highway.
