About this Event
A free family-friendly Earth Day celebration with live music, free food, tie-dye t-shirts, and plenty of other activities for both kids and grown-ups alike. See photos from past events below!
Tie-dye Fun!
- Bring a shirt or garment of your own to tie-dye into vivid colors and patterns. Learn how to do it yourself, and take home a work of textile art!
- TIP: 100% cotton or natural fibers of light colors absorb dye the best
- Various thrifted garments will be available if you do not have something to bring. Suggested dontation per item: $5. Pay on site.
Plant and Seed Swap!
- Spring time brings seedlings and seed starting - bring some extra seeds you no longer need and swap a neighbor for some of theirs! House plant cuttings are welcome too. Anything healthy (no bugs) and ready for a new home is welcome!

Boston Building Resources is located a short walk away from the Roxbury Crossing station on the MBTA Orange Line.
We are close to the Southwest Corridor bicycle path.
If you are driving, there is only city-street parking for this event. Please consider carpooling or ride-share options.

By registering for this class, I hereby authorize Boston Building Resources to use pictures of me taken in a photograph, digital image, or video. I hereby release Boston Building Resources, its agents or employees, as well as any and all users and exhibitors of said pictures, from any and all claims, demands, accountings, and causes for which the aforesaid video, digital image, or photograph likeness may be used pursuant to this Consent and General Release. It is also my understanding that I will receive no compensation for my likeness or testimonial. If I opt out, I will inform staff at the registration desk that I do not want to be in photos.
