Cortinas are one of the biggest problems at Tango5400.
At a regular milonga, anything that isn't vintage tango is obviously a cortina. Not so at an alternative milonga! Bob has tried using J. S. Bach keyboard music, Renaissance vocal music, South Indian classical music, etc… but some folks always think it's the intro to a banger and they wait on the floor for the bass to drop.
