In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services, Burrell Behavioral Health,, will host a SAVE-A-LIFE: Naloxone (also known as Narcan®) education and distribution event on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from noon to 1:00 p.m.Following the event, Public Health and Human Services staff will be available to provide information and brief training to individuals who are unable to attend the formal presentation. Both formal and informal training will include how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to use and access naloxone.
