Save a Life Day: Free Naloxone (Narcan)

This event will be held in partnership with the Hillsborough Recovery Coalition. Pick up free life-saving Naloxone (Narcan), get trained on how to use the intervention medicine, and connect with community resources.

Save A Life Day is the country’s largest annual free Naloxone (Narcan) day. As part of the movement to end the overdose crisis, the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is distributing free Naloxone to the people who need it most.

Naloxone, more well known by one of its brand names, Narcan, is an easy-to-use nasal spray that works to reverse opioid overdoses. By participating in this event, you will receive free naloxone, learn how to administer it, and most importantly, be prepared to save a life.

The training takes just 5-10 minutes and people can show up any time between 10am-3pm.
