Savannah's Lady In Mourning was run down by a trolley in front of St. John's Cathedral in 1886. She'd just left her day at the grist mill. Some cite that the force of the trolley wheels across her neck caused her head to fly into the church itself. Probably just an urban legend. Laid to rest in Laurel Grove Cemetery's Stranger Section, Doctor Buzzard raised her restless spirit up and put her to work telling ghostly tales of her time and our's for that's the price of being a lost soul and only you can give her more peace in her grave by letting her lead you through Savannah's mean, haunted streets.
