Savannah Jazz presents The Eric Jones Quartet

Welcome to Savannah Jazz! Join us for a night of music with The Eric Jones Quartet at The Venue.

2020 Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame inductee, Eric Jones, is an accomplished pianist and composer who has worked with many prominent artists including GRAMMY award-winning bassist and vocalist, Esperanza Spalding, Stewart Copland of the Police, Keith Miller of the Metropolitan Opera, and Wycliffe Gordon. His debut album, “Azubuike”, features Marc Chesanow on Bass and Robert Saunders on drums.

With an M.A. in Composition from Georgia Southern University, Eric is an educator and the pianist for the Savannah Jazz Orchestra as well as a featured member of the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra and premiered his commissioned piece “The Seafarer” with them in September 2024. He served as interim director for the Savannah Music Festival’s Jazz Academy 2019 - 2020 and currently teaches at Savannah State University.
