And so it is that we have decided to offer our two year training for a second time ??
Foundation Programme: Saturday 13th September - Sunday 8th December 2024 - Open to All
Teacher Training: January 18th 2025 - June 2026 - Open to those who have undertaken the Foundation Programme.

FOUNDATION PROGRAMME
If you have not yet done our Foundation Programme, then you will start with this, in September 2024. This 4 month course provides a thorough initiation into the style that you will be learning to teach - a traditional hatha yoga lineage grounded in the Bihar School.
This course guides you through an experiential journey, embodying the 8 Limbs of Yoga and beyond. Ethics, Philosophy, Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, plus explorations of cyclical wisdom, liberation, and a group process that holds safe space to share the process together ❤️
We welcome any applicants with a genuine interest to explore the various aspects of yoga within a traditional hatha yoga style.

TEACHER TRAINING
This course builds on the Foundation Programme, building on the practices learnt in preparing students to begin to take on the role of the teacher. The aim is for participants to undergo a process of initiation and transformation, through the yogic tools, leading them to a place where they are ready and confident to teach and share the yogic practices with knowledge and integrity. Participants will emerge from the training with self-awareness and knowledge, and the highest skill in designing and leading their own yoga classes, courses and workshops.
Self practice (sadhana) forms a fundamental part of this course. You will be expected to be committed to a daily practice throughout the course, which includes a practice of self-enquiry, reflection and learning. You will also need time for reading and studying. In the second year you will set up your own weekly yoga class in the community (as well as have the opportunity to teach one session at Satyam), which will be assessed.
This unique yoga teacher training offers a comprehensive curriculum to include the following:
? Yoga asana
? Pranayama
? Yoga Nidra
? Meditation
? Yogic Cleansing
? Yogic Physiology & Embodied Philosophy
? Karma Yoga
?️ Bhakti Yoga - Mantra & Chanting
?️ Anatomy & Physiology
?️ Culture & Philosophy
?️ Decolonization, Equity & Inclusion
?️ Trauma Informed Practice
All this in the beautiful space of Satyam, in the heart of Cambridge.
A homecooked lunch, lovingly prepared by Satyam co-founder Paul Darking, is provided throughout the training. Sitting and eating wholesome, nourishing food together in the lounge is a real highlight of this training!
Led by Chiraswa Darking - Satyam co-founder - alongside a team of truly inspirational teachers - this course is a one-of-a-kind, and we invite you to join us for the next one!
