Monika has been on the dance scene for over a decade and teaches salsa and rueda at Baile-Latino. She will be bringing her fun vibes and great knowledge of salsa and rueda for beginner dancers in the downstairs room.
Rueda is a Spanish word that means "wheel" and refers to the circular format of the salsa wheel dance. Rueda de Casino is taught in Cuban Salsa classes, and consists of spontaneous routines called by a person called "Il Cantante". It is a very fun and playful dance which brings smiles and laughter to the dancers. Suitable for absolute beginners.
