I'm really excited to be running a series of workshops in 2024, which I've named 'Saturday Sings'.
For each workshop, I've invited a fantastic guest choir composer, and we will take it in turns to teach our own original SATB harmony songs. Who knows, you could be the first group of singers to ever sing this material!
? WHERE? Faithspace, Prewett St, Redcliffe, Bristol BS1 6PB*
? WHAT TIME? 1030-430pm
? PRICE? £45 standard rate (plus booking fee), inc lunch, teas, coffees and cakes. (Low Income/Higher Earner options).
All are welcome! We are Natural Voice Network leaders and all songs will taught by ear so there is no need to read music.

* Drivers - Faithspace is in the Bristol Clean Air Zone, so you may be charged, depending on your car - check here. There is free parking at the venue (there is one car park on either side of the building and you're welcome to use either).

11th May 2024 - Rosie Sleightholme & Katy Bennett
For the second workshop in our Saturday Sings series, I have the wonderful Katy Rose Bennett as guest composer.

About Katy:
https://katyrosebennett.com/
Katy Rose Bennett is a songwriter, choir composer, choir leader, community musician and multi-instrumentalist based in Birmingham.
She has been running community choirs and workshops in her adopted home of Birmingham for the last 15 years.
As a singer songwriter for over 20 years, Katy has been creating her earthy, intimate folk music, telling stories of love, despair, connection and community.
In September 2021, Katy released her 7th album, Alone On A Hill: a beautiful, emotionally raw yet ultimately joyful collection of multi-layered, a cappella vocal songs, with influences ranging from Bobby McFerrin, Bjork and Brian Wilson.
She empowers audiences and choir members alike to be emotionally open by sharing the strength in vulnerability, through the vessel of song.
