Saturday Pottery: Scandinavian Candlestick
About this Event
Come and join ceramic artist Alison Waters in this seasonal candlestick making workshop.
Hand build a beautiful ceramic candlestick inspired by minimalist Scandinavian style. Perfect to light those hygge winter evenings or as a beautiful centre piece for seasonal festivities.
During the workshop you will learn how to use a variety of hand building techniques to create your stoneware candlestick. Once you are happy with the form you will finish your piece by applying glaze.
Candlesticks will be fired over the following weeks, ready for use during the festive season. We'll let you know by email as soon as your piece is ready for collection - which could be 3-4 weeks after the session.
Hat Works Café will be open, serving light lunches (which can be pre-ordered on the day), delicious baked treats and drinks for you to enjoy and you’re welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection.
