Our Self Designs Art Gallery will be having a Paint Party hosted by Meaza Sewasew!

Self Designs Art Gallery is all about painting and having fun! Explore the possibility of bringing the joy of Art with your friends and family. Learn that painting can be fun. No need to be intimidated, painting is for everyone.

While your paintings are drying, you will have access to a two-level tour of our glowing gallery atmosphere with amazing music, awesome projector visuals and complimentary drinks & snacks!

This is an event for all ages.

For guests with special needs who may require mobile accommodations, the first level is available for viewing and there is elevator access located at the main entrance. "UPPER LEVEL ONLY" TICKETS available for purchase since the lower level is limited to stair access only. Please contact the artist & owner Self at (916)516-6479 for assistance with elevator use and be sure to provide your "UPPER LEVEL ONLY" ticket(s) so that we can make sure to meet you at the main entrance

My journey

onto the path of artistry started after graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1987.

These images are the result

of my search for the truth about me. My art is a reflection of my inner state. When I create, I am in different space that feels like outside my body. The Dendritic style helped me

to define and explain the energy that surrounds and permeates every cell on Earth. We are part of Earth. We are all connected with invisible energy.

I am always interested

in the universal oneness that connects us all.

This quest helps me be more creative and improve my concentration and focus on the inner realms. My love of nature, is reflected in the

Dendritic style.

I fell in love

with Dendritics because the lines guide me to explain the energy that surrounds us.

I love art.

It is such an awesome experience to be able to share something that is a big part of me with others. As an art teacher, I see my work accentuating the positive and focus on the strengths of my students. My goal is to help students recognize and appreciate their own creativity. The creative process is awesome.

There is no greater feeling of freedom. I enjoy taking people down the path of self discovery and help recover their self-esteem.
