Saturday Open Studio at GIFT

GIFT are excited to present a new weekly untutored open studio session at our large and comfortable studio at South Block. This is a relaxed and informal space to come and work independently on your own creative projects. The numbers are kept low to ensure that this is a safe space to explore your creativity, therefore we recommend that you book in advance to secure your place.

There are two options - you can pay for access to the studio and bring your own supplies, or you for an additional fee, use the art materials and equipment in our studio (select the studio access ticket option along with the art materials add on at the check out).

Selecting the art materials add on will give you access to the following: 170 gsm cartridge paper, acrylic paints, watercolour paints, oil paints, selection of paint brushes, paint palettes, chalk pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, pastel pencils, block printing inks and rollers, lino cutting tools (lino is not included), craft knives & cutting mats, collage materials including various papers and glue, drawing pencils, sharpie pens, fabric pens and felt tip pens.

No prior art making experience necessary. Anyone over 18 is welcome (if you are under 18 and interested please contact us to discuss coming along). Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Our studio is based in South Block is centrally located, within walking distance of Central Station, Queen Street Station, Argyle Street Station and the underground, with easy access to buses.

24 hours prior to the event: Refund only if the spaces can be filled.
