About the Show

Embark on dreamy adventures across Spain in ballet’s most famous romantic comedy. Virginia Ballet Company's production of Don Quixote will whisk viewers away to meet flamenco dancers, dryads, and the fiery Kitri, all in a kid-friendly format to introduce your child to the world of ballet!

Time and Place

Performances will take place at 9:30am and 11am on the Mainstage of The National Theatre, located at 1321 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004.

Tickets and Donations

Please reserve tickets to the 9:30 AM or 11 AM performance. Registration is FREE but donations are welcome. Please note that you must register before adding an optional donation!

Audience

This performance is ideal for children ages 3-6 but all are welcome!

Accessibility

This performance will be ASL-interpreted. The space is wheelchair accessible.

About the Artists

Virginia Ballet Company, based in Fairfax, Virginia, is a non-profit organization established to provide exceptional authentic classical ballet and contemporary dance training. Virginia Ballet Company guides and instills students with the life skills of self-discipline and self-confidence through rigorous training and performance opportunities. The company focuses on continuing the rich tradition of classical choreography by instructing dancers on the history of dance, its pioneers, and its methods of instruction. They offer dance classes to ladies and gentlemen from ages 3 through mature adults. Classes include ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, conditioning, and more.
