Hey Bay Area,We are having a second hike this month, one that should be fun and challenging. It’s a moderate level hike. Will post maps closer to the hike date on AllTrails.
Please come with AllTrails on your phone. Come with hydration, shoes with traction and a smile. If you can do that, you should be fine on the hike.
Pull up at 8 starts so we can get started by 8:15am and done by 11am
When most folks are just getting out of bed on a Saturday.
Come for nature, for your health, for sweat, for slow down, for peace, some social connectivity and to disconnect and find some peace away devices and electronics.
Invite a friend, mark the calendar. We truly live in the age of GROUP runs and invites and hikes these days. That’s a great thing. Proud of 510 Hikers for having so many create community and the impact we have made to blaze the trail over the years to make a lot of what you are seeing these days and out of the Bay Area possible. Especially when it comes to
Black and even brown folks getting together and hiking while enjoying the outdoors. We keep it diverse and welcoming so, everyone is welcome here, everyone can find a home with us.
Expect 8 miles with 1200 feet elevation. Couple steep parts, nothing you can fall off a cliff and die from but you would scrap the heck out your knees if you did. So, let’s be careful.
