No Sew Workshop! Create your own 20cm diameter (drum) lampshade to match your room theme.The lampshade kit included provides everything you need to make a professional 20cm Drum Lampshade from the covering of your choice, that can be used as a Pendant (ceiling), or with a suitable table lamp.
Bring your own choice of fabric, which needs to be a piece cut to at least 75cm wide x 30cm high to cover the self-adhesive fire retardant panel supplied. This will be cut down to the correct size during class. Your fabric can be satin, silk, combination of cotton or linen, ideally not too heavy. You can then decorate it with trims…OR get creative and add your own hand embroidery or use fabric paints to draw a unique design on plain cotton in advance of the class to bring along?
What type of lamp holder will this lampshade fit?
“The lampshade frame included in your kit will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp, holder. This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, merely remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting.”
