Saturday Jewellery Making: Textured Silver Earrings with Zoe Leavy

Join jewellery maker Zoe Leavy from Honey Bee Design to make two pairs of beautiful textured silver earrings.

After several sellout jewellery workshops, we're delighted to welcome jewellery artist Zoe Leavy from Honey Bee Design back to the studio. In this class you will create two pairs of sterling silver earrings using silver sheet, wire and a variety of hammers and stamps to add texture.

For the stud earrings you will use a piece of silver sheet, piercing out your own shapes with a jewellers saw, which can then be textured and shaped to your design. For the hoops you'll use a length of 2mm silver wire that can be textured and shaped to create your earrings.

You'll learn to pierce, texture and solder in this class, leaving with lovely pieces that you've created and can wear with pride - or perhaps keep a pair and gift a pair!

Hat Works Café will be open, serving fresh light lunches, hot food, delicious baked treats and drinks for you to enjoy. You’re also more than welcome to explore our exhibition and retail collection.
