Rainwater tank (rain barrel) is a water tank used to collect and store rainwater runoff, typically from rooftops via pipes. Join MGV (Master Gardener Volunteer) Sandra Bryan as she presents on Rain Barrels. Learn the purpose and benefits of having a rain barrel. Collecting rainwater for your garden reduces runoff and can save you money. Come learn more about these additions to your garden. All participants leave with a rain barrel fitted with a spout. Be sure your vehicle is large enough for a 50 gallon barrel. No refunds after April 11th as supplies will be purchased at this time.
Pre-registration is required online by April 5 at 8:00 am.
*Remember to bring a car large enough to transport your rain barrel.
