Saturday Daytime: Simon Doty [Extended Set] + EMJIE

Simon Doty brings his blend of deep, tech, minimal and house to Refuge for an extended set on Saturday, October 3.

After the breakthrough success of Universal Language, Simon has returned to his roots, pushing further into groove-based club music through his own imprint, Recess. His signature sound, defined by gritty textures, minimal melodies and tough, driving grooves, has earned support from artists including Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Pete Tong and Danny Howard.

Brussels-based EMJIE completes the lineup with her blissful blend of classic house and modern indie dance.

Refuge Hi-Def Dance Club is a 500-cap underground nightclub in East Williamsburg built around sound, energy, and atmosphere. At its core is REX, a custom 4-point system designed by co-founder Craig “Shorty” Bernabeu, with four 10-foot stacks surrounding the dance floor for a powerful, immersive experience. Each night is curated to push that system to its full potential — a true Musical Arts Performance in every sense.
