Join us for an enchanting evening of art, culture and blessings in the presence of a realized Himalayan monk, His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda. With your support, we can safeguard ancient Himalayan wisdom and disseminate the time-honoured indigenous knowledge that serve as a beacon of light for aspirants and seekers everywhere.

Individual and business sponsors will also have a special opportunity to spend additional time with His Holiness the following day. On Sunday, 27 October from 11am – 12:30pm sponsors can join His Holiness for a guided meditation, followed by a tour of our beautiful new Meditation Centre in Penn Valley (just a short 15-minute drive from downtown Grass Valley).

The Sunday meditation and tour is our way to say thank you for your support of the Sattwadharman benefit and is complimentary to sponsors. During registration, please click the “add-on” option for your ticket.

The spiritual founder of California Nonprofit, Self Enquiry Life Fellowship and the President monk of our global sangha and consortium of Indic institutions will offer an inspirational keynote address.

His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda is a realized Himalayan Vedic monk, who hails from unbroken lineages of the combined heritage of rishi sages and nath meditation adepts.

He is among the very few available adepts outside of India who has been awarded the degree of Mahāmahopādhyāya (DLitt et Phil) by the erstwhile President of the Association of Indian Universities and by the Sanskrit scholars of Calcutta, India. The degree was conferred in recognition of his meditative interpretation, scholarly analysis, and ability to articulate the philosophical nuances of Sanskrit literature.

Our international sangha is deeply engaged through this annual Sattwadharman Benefit in preserving and transferring the legacy of the ancient Sanskrit-based indigenous heritage from its associated Indic monastic institutions to its USA operations for global dissemination.

This global cultural transmission is jointly facilitated primarily by two charitable institutions, Hansavedas (Self Enquiry Life fellowship) in the USA and Vedanidhi (Vedic Heritage Research Foundation) in India, both led by His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda.

During our live silent auction, you will have the opportunity to view and purchase sacred art from our Nonprofit’s Fellowship Archives. Our silent auction is also the only opportunity to purchase limited edition prints signed by His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda. This special event also makes it possible for historians and art connoisseurs to access meditative art not easily available elsewhere.

You will be able to bid directly from your mobile phone or at a designated kiosk. All registrants will receive an automatic text message when the auction opens at 6:00pm on Wednesday, 25th October. Table guests for whom we do not have contact details will have to manually register for mobile bidding when they arrive at the event.

Sponsorship and donations will support construction initiatives at our Meditation Centre in Penn Valley, California. Proceeds from our art auction directly support the students at our Sanskrit whole-brain accelerated learning schools in India.

Semi-formal attire is recommended. Festive or traditional Indian clothes are appropriate as is Western style clothing that is semi-formal. Kindly note that we will be in the presence of His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda, therefore it is also recommended that attire is modest.
